Strengths in Academic Writing: I’m not entirely sure if this makes sense, but one of my biggest strengths is probably my grammar and syntax. I feel like I’m very good at editing, revising, and making things sound good. My essays are usually well structured and very to the point.
Weaknesses in Academic Writing: My biggest weakness in academic writing is simply getting started and coming up with ideas to put down. I suffer from Writer’s Block almost every time, lol. I also am really bad at overthinking everything so I always question if what I have written is good enough and will usually spend a lot of time going back and changing the littlest details.
Favorite Work I’ve Done: My favorite piece of work is a short story titled ‘Ghost’ that won a gold medal from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards at Columbia University (NY) in 2017.
